Public Notice

The Hagerstown/Eastern Panhandle Interstate Council hereby notifies all interested persons that amendments are being proposed to the FY 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) for the Hagerstown-Martinsburg, MD-WV Metropolitan Area.  The TIP identifies more than $125 million in projects for highway, transit and other related transportation services that are planned to be constructed or implemented over the next four years throughout the metropolitan area.  The public comment period will begin on Monday, June 9, 2008 and end on Friday, June 20, 2008.  Those persons wishing to review the proposed amendments may request a copy by contacting the HEPMPO office before Wednesday, June 18, 2008.  The office is located at 33 W. Washington Street, Suite 402, Hagerstown, MD 21740.  Business hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The amendments may also be viewed on the MPO website at:  www.hepmpo.net/news/2007/07aug_lrtp_amendments.html
